Georges d'Amboise
Georges d'Amboise (* 1460 in Chaumont-sur-Loire near Amboise ; † May 25, 1510 in Lyon ) was cardinal , minister, first advisor and friend of Louis XII. from France.
Life
Georges, son of Pierre d'Amboise , became Bishop of Montauban and almsman of Louis XI at the age of only 14 . , under Charles VIII. 1492 Archbishop of Narbonne and 1493 Archbishop of Rouen as well as Governor General of Normandy .
