Gerd Schnack

Gerd Schnack (* 1934 in Schwerin ) is a German sports and preventive medicine specialist . Schnack is a specialist in surgery and trauma surgery and a lecturer in music medicine at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . He works at the Institute for Health Promotion in Hamburg and at the Allensbach Prevention Center. He is honorary president of the German Society for Preventive Medicine and Prevention Management .

Focus

Schnack has authored several popular science books on prevention issues . His book on computer fit and healthy in 1996 and in Braille ( Braille published). In addition, Schnack organizes seminars for laypeople and training courses for doctors.

Based on his work as a sports doctor, Schnack developed his concept of the Seven Hanseatic League ( stretching exercises). They should bring about the oxygen flow effect postulated by him . Another method he developed is repetitive meditation training (RMT).
