Gerhard Boldt (legal scholar)
Gerhard Boldt (born October 24, 1901 in Dortmund ; † June 10, 1992 in Dortmund) was a German legal scholar and judge at the Federal Labor Court in Kassel .
Life
In 1922 Gerhard Boldt received his doctorate. jur. and in 1924 Dr. rer. pole. In 1928 Gerhard Boldt joined Deutsche Erdöl-AG in Berlin as legal advisor and stayed until 1934. He served as chief legal advisor at Harpener Bergbau-AG in Dortmund from 1934 to 1955. From 1946 he taught mining law at the University of Münster . In 1952 he became an honorary professor and co-director of the Institute for Mining Law and Energy Law at the University of Münster.
Boldt has made numerous scientific publications in the field of mining law and mining law . He has also dealt with the life and work of important mining lawyers, namely with Hermann Brassert .
In 1955 he was appointed judge at the Federal Labor Court, where he was President of the Senate from 1959 to 1969.
Boldt was a co-founder of a commentary on the Federal Mining Act and co-editor of the Zeitschrift für Arbeitsrecht . In 1969 he was also a founding member of the KfH Board of Trustees for Home Dialysis .
His estate is in the Bochum mining archive .
