The Gerhards Marionette Theater in Schwäbisch Hall is Baden-Württemberg 's largest and oldest puppet theater .
history
The Gerhards Marionette Theater was founded in 1925 by the actor Fritz Gerhards (* 1898 in Witten ; † 1955 in Schwäbisch Hall) in Wuppertal - Elberfeld . In 1943 the theater moved to Schwäbisch Hall . Since 1982 it has been a stationary theater in the "Schafstall", the former spa theater in Schwäbisch Hall.
