Hesse

Germansen was a village settlement in today's district of Wolfhagen in northern Hesse Kassel district . It was located about 1.5 km west of the old town of Wolfhagen at an altitude of 270 m on the Siegenbach , just before its confluence with the Dusebach .

history

Almost nothing is known about the history of the place. He is mentioned in the property register of Hasungen Monastery in 1356, and the St. Petri-Stiftt in Fritzlar owned the tithe in "Germanessen". It is not known when the place was left; in 1405 it was still inhabited.
