The Geuserberg is a mountain in the area of the town of Wallenfels in the Upper Franconian district of Kronach . With its height of 708 m above sea level. NHN it is one of the highest mountains in the Franconian Forest Nature Park . The adjacent wheel tip has a height of 678.4 m above sea level. NHN . Below the summit is the village of Geuser , a district of Wallenfels.
The relief energy is unique in the Franconian Forest, with an altitude difference of almost 400 meters between the summit of the Geuserberg and the valley of the Wild Rodach , in which the urban area of Wallenfels is located.
On the Geuserberg there is a television converter and a radio tower for the fire service radio.
In winter there is an extensive network of trails in the Radspitze-Geuserberg area. In summer the area is suitable for extensive hiking and mountain bike tours on signposted paths.
A summit cross was erected on the summit in the 1980s by Wallenfelser Bergfreunde, which is a popular starting point for hikers.
