Giancarlo Cappelli

Giancarlo Cappelli (born April 29, 1912 in Lausanne , † December 22, 1982 ) was an Italian film editor and film producer .

Life

Cappelli's career began in 1933 as an assistant director ; sometimes he also appeared in small roles in front of the camera. From 1938 onwards he mainly devoted himself to film editing and worked as an editor on more than 40 productions.

In the 1950s, Cappelli also worked as a film producer on three films. He also directs: in 1943 he staged the Italian version of the musical drama Romanzo a passa di danza , which was co- produced with Spain, and co-wrote the screenplay.
