Gianni Mina (born February 9, 1992 in Les Abymes , Guadeloupe ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Gianni Mina mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far, he has celebrated five singles and two doubles on the Future Tour. He made his debut on the ATP World Tour in 2010 at the Open de Nice Côte d'Azur in Nice, for which he received a wildcard from the tournament management . He lost his opening game against Łukasz Kubot 5: 7 and 4: 6. A week later he received another wildcard for the French Open and met Rafael Nadal , who was second in the world rankings in the first round , against whom he lost 2: 6, 2: 6 and 2: 6.

For the main draw of an ATP tournament, Mina qualified for the first time in July 2014 at the Crédit Agricole Suisse Open Gstaad , where he lost to Henri Laaksonen in the first round .
