Gilde is part of the community of Müden (Aller) (integrated community of Meinersen ) in the district of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony .
history
Already in 1315 Gilde was mentioned in a document as Gelide , with which the knight Baldewin von Wenden transferred the Gelide farm to the Riddagshausen monastery .
In 2014, Gilde's power supply was switched from overhead lines to underground cables and the transformer station was taken out of service, since then it has served as a nesting aid for various bird and insect species.
Geography and transport links
The place is southeast of the core town of Müden. The Aller flows not far north and east. The 9.2 hectare large nature reserve " Gilder Sea Mountain Moor " is the place to the south, southeast lie the nature reserves " cattle Moor " and " Fahle Heide, Gifhorner Heide ".
The B 188 runs south and the B 4 runs east. A bus line runs from Gilde to Flettmar and Gifhorn .
