The Gilder Meerbergsmoor is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Müden (Aller) in the municipality of Meinersen in the district of Gifhorn .

The nature reserve with the registration number BR 144 is 9.2  hectares . It is completely surrounded by the protected landscape area “Gifhorner, Winkeler and Fahle Heide and adjacent parts of the landscape”, which was designated in 1984 .

The nature reserve lies between Gifhorn and Meinersen . It protects a mound in a muddy blow-out basin in the Pale Heide, an ice age dune landscape from the Vistula glaciation. The blowout trough has formed on drifting sands that cover fluvial sediments . The area around the Schlatt, which is located in a forest area, is included in the nature reserve. The moored blow-out basin is mostly free of trees.

The area is characterized by the Schlatt with renaturation-capable, degraded raised bog , transitional and swinging turf bog and peat bog ravines . The well-preserved Schlatt and its surroundings offer a habitat for numerous animal and plant species. Numerous species of birds are at home here, including tree pipit , pied flycatcher , wood warbler , teal , little grebe and marsh harrier .

The area has been a nature reserve since February 1, 2013. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Gifhorn.
