Gilla Vincenzo Gremigni MSC (born January 22, 1891 in Castagneto Carducci , † January 7, 1963 in Ghiffa ) was an Italian clergyman and bishop of Novara .

Life

He was ordained priest on June 27, 1915. He then worked as a pastor in Rome.

On January 18, 1945 he was called to be Bishop of Teramo ed Atri . The episcopal ordination donated him on February 11, 1945 Raffaele Carlo Cardinal Rossi OCD ; Co-consecrators were Archbishop Luigi Traglia and the Bishop of Todi Alfonso Maria de Sanctis .

On June 29, 1951, Gilla Vincenzo Gremigni was transferred to the Episcopal See of Novara. He received the title of Archbishop ad personam on April 17, 1958 . Gilla Vincenzo Gremigni attended the first session of the Second Vatican Council .

He was buried in the pilgrimage church of the Madonna del Sangue in Re .
