Gillian Alexy (born March 13, 1986 in Perth , Western Australia ) is an Australian actress .

life and career

Gillian Alexy attended the John Curtin College of the Arts until her graduation in 2000, where she studied dance and theater. She then visited the Actors Center in London, the Le Center de les Arts Vivants and the Peter Goss Tanz Studio in Paris and spent six months studying theater at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the USA . Alexy first appeared on television at the age of ten in Barron Entertainment's Ship to Shore .

Since then, she has appeared in All Saints , Bed , Parallax , Fast Tracks and The Gift . Gillian played the lead role in West , released in 2005, and starred in Highly Toxic that same year . Alexy has also appeared in many theater productions such as Popcorn (1999), Return to the Forbidden Planet (2000), Mice (2001), Resident Alien (2002), Six Characters Looking for an Author (2003), The Chatroom (2004) , Ghost Train (2004) and Codes of Practice (2005). After her role as Tayler Geddes in the drama series McLeod's Daughters , she began to appear in American television series . She had guest appearances in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , Unforgettable and Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York . In 2012 she appeared in all ten episodes of the fifth and final season of Damages as Gitta Novak . In 2016 she starred in the series Aquarius (TV series) as sister Martha Kendall.
