Gilmar Luís Rinaldi (born January 13, 1959 in Erechim ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
National team
In 1986 goalkeeper Gilmar made his debut for the Brazilian national team . With this he successfully qualified for the 1994 World Cup in the United States . There the Seleção won the title, although Gilmar was not used. The goalkeeper of the Brazilian team was Cláudio Taffarel . Gilmar played a total of nine internationals. He also reached the final at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles with the Brazilian team, in which Dunga was also the captain of the eventual world championship team, which , however, was lost 2-0 to France .
