Gio-Key-Board or GioKeyBoard is a speaking writing program with a keyboard for children.
Program description
Gio-Key-Board is a freely definable multimedia keyboard with a built-in writing program. The virtual keyboard for Abc shooters is particularly suitable for learning to read and write (written language acquisition ).
Word processor for children
The keyboard with the character table can be used either with external word processing programs or with the built-in “speaking text processing”. Letters and initial sound examples (eg: "A" - "Ant") are reproduced in this linguistic or synthetic language . Letters, words and texts can be read out, spelled out or recorded with the audio recorder . Words or text modules can also be inserted into the text using the “talking dictionary ”. In addition, the program has different cloze functions and a Ispell - spell check .
Children's keyboard (loud keyboard)
The input keyboard of the program is individually and multilingual adaptable. Keyboard layouts (one to 450 keys) of the initial keyboard, key assignments (with letters, special characters , text modules , shortcuts , etc.), initial sounds , key sizes, speech outputs, sounds, fonts, colors, etc. are freely definable. Also HTML files (with images, image maps , links, tables, etc.) can be used as keyboard layouts. Key images, text editor and keyboard can be shown and hidden. The writing program and the keyboard can also be adapted to individual needs with more than 100 setting options.
Technical details
The program interface is multilingual (standard: German and English). By integrating the appropriate language files, the program is available for other languages (Italian, French, Spanish, etc.).
