Giorgio Ardisson
Giorgio Ardisson (born December 13, 1931 in Turin ; † December 11, 2014 in Cerveteri ) was an Italian actor who usually appeared under the Anglicised first name "George".
Life
Ardisson, of an athletic stature and blond, was mostly associated with agent films and was even known for some time as "the Italian James Bond ".
In fact, his acting career began with a debut in Mauro Bolognini's Arrangiatevi! (1959), to be continued with co-star roles in peplums and adventure films, so u. a. in Revenge of the Vikings and Vampires against Heracles (both directed by Mario Bava ).
His appearances in agent films were shaped by the short series of Agent 3S3 films (whose third use was only so titled in the FRG) directed by Sergio Sollima , which created the mixture of suspense, gadgets and a bit of eroticism that was common in the 1960s kept ready.
Later Ardisson also played in spaghetti westerns and some Giallos . Towards the mid-1970s it was used more and more in sex comedies, later also in horror and action films of lesser quality (and budgeting), in which it mostly appeared like a foreign body. He was also involved in almost every film by the director Sergio Pastore , whose works, however, rarely received distribution and are difficult to find. Ardisson could thus be seen until the beginning of the 1990s.
