action

The film takes place some time after the events of the television series. The Senshadō team of the Ōarai Prefectural Girls' School and the Chihatan School team are contesting a double friendship match against St. Gloriana and Pravda , but because of the impulsive nature of the Chihatan team, the contest ends despite the hard work of Ōarai in theirs Defeat. When the Ōarai team returned to school, however, a nasty surprise awaited them: Despite their victory in the 63rd Senshadō school tournament , the Japanese Ministry of Education stuck to its decision to close the school. The girls are therefore forced to pack their things and leave their training ship in the port of Ōarai the next morning.

While the general morale of the Ōarai students because of the certain loss of their school, Miho encounters a girl named Alice Shimada, the heiress and commander of the Shimada university team, who, like Miho's own family, has a long Senshadō tradition while visiting a teddy museum maintains. Meanwhile, Ōarai student president Anzu pulls out all the stops and manages to persuade the most prominent members of the Japanese Senshadō Committee - including Miho's mother, Shiho Nishizumi - to argue that the removal of a champion is a loss for the Senshadō Tradition means putting pressure on the education minister. He then accommodates them with the promise to let the Ōarai school continue to exist if it asserts itself in a national qualifying match against Shimada.

However, the minister, who would like to see Ōarai fall, sets extremely unfair conditions for the match: Ōarai's Senshadō team of 8 must face a superior force of 30 enemy tanks, and all tanks on one side must be shot down to win. Therefore, on the day of the competition, unexpected but very welcome reinforcements for the Ōarai team came as their friends and admirers of Kuromorimine , St. Gloriana , Saunders , Prawda , Anzio , Chihatan and Keizoku, taking advantage of a loophole in the tournament rules, additional team members and Provide tanks and thus offset Shimada's numerical superiority. With the start of the match, Alice proves to be a talented strategist, and the united Ōarai team suffers significant losses in the first phase. In addition, the minister has given the Shimada team permission to use an over- heavy mortar , but the Ōarai team can detect the weapon and turn it off.

The next phase of the battle shifts to a disused amusement park, where Ōarai succeeds with some unusual strategies and by taking advantage of their surroundings to gradually thin the ranks of their opponents. But when Alice intervenes personally, the match expands into a wild elimination derby on both sides, until only Miho and her sister Maho are facing Alice in a final duel from the Ōarai team. Thanks to the cooperation between the two sisters, Ōarai finally wins and can (to the bitter disappointment of the education minister) return to her school.
