Giulia Rubini

Giulia Rubini (actually Giuliana Rubini ; born June 2, 1935 in Pescara ) is a former Italian actress .

biography

Giulia Rubini appeared in the 15 years of her acting activity between 1953 and 1968 in thirty-five films, often of an adventurous nature, mostly as beautiful or naive to be saved by the hero. She had one of her first appearances in 1956 in the film Die Bande der Ehrlichen (La banda degli onesti) with Totò . Her other films include La finestra sul Luna-Park, a participant in the 1957 Berlinale . She also shot with Fernandel , Alberto Sordi and Orson Welles .

Giulia married Rubini at the age of 21. When she was pregnant with her second child, she decided to retire from the film business and devote herself to her family.

In 2013 Rubini was awarded the Arcolaio d'Argento , a prize for outstanding women from Abruzzo .
