action

Gary Hamilton's wife and daughter, along with two other people, are killed in a fire on their local farm; the man who was drunk at the time was sentenced to seven years in prison. Gary Hamilton returns after serving his sentence. In Paso Bravo there is now Acombar with bloody means and a hard hand; he also lives on Gary's former farm. Hamilton soon finds himself in arguments with his people and himself again. When an old man tells him that Acombar was also behind the fateful fire of the past, Hamilton decides to act. With the help of the old man, the sheriff and few others, he manages to get rid of all the people of Acombar, and ultimately this himself.

criticism

The lexicon of international film found the western formulaic: "Revenge story with numerous corpses staged according to the templates of the Spaghetti Western." The Segnalazioni Cinematografiche expressed themselves similarly , because the story of the film is identical to a dozen other westerns and filmed according to a fixed formula, theirs The main component are scenes of violence.

Remarks

The history and names of the characters involved can be found in Antonio Margheritis' much more original Satan of Vengeance . The box-office result in Italy was well below average and amounted to only 34 million lire .

The title song, which appeared on a single ( Cinevox-MDF.09 ), is interpreted by Vittorio Bezzi ; a saloon song can also be heard.
