Ignazio Leone

Ignazio Leone (born April 19, 1923 in Palermo , † December 30, 1976 in Turin ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Leone began his acting career on stages in Sicily. There he played several times on the side of the two Sicilian comedians Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia .

In 1953, Leone made his feature film debut in the adventure film Auf des Degensspitze, directed by Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia . In the following 24 years he worked in over 100 feature film productions in larger and smaller roles. Leone played under numerous well-known directors such as Alberto Lattuada , Franco Rosi , Dino Risi , Pasquale Festa Campanile and Steno in films of various genres.
