Giuseppe Migone

Giuseppe Migone (born May 11, 1875 in Genoa , Italy , † January 1, 1951 in Rome ) was a curial archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Giuseppe Migone studied philosophy and Catholic theology at the Almo Collegio Capranica in Rome . On August 14, 1898 , he received the sacrament of ordination for the Archbishopric of Genoa through the Archbishop of Genoa , Tommaso Reggio . Migone was the private secretary of Pope Benedict XV. On December 20, 1923 he was awarded the honorary title of Pontifical House Prelate .

On December 19, 1935, Pope Pius XI appointed him . the titular of Nicomedia and ordered him to the Pontifical chaplain. Pius XI. donated him the episcopal ordination on January 19, 1936 in St. Peter's Basilica ; Co- consecrators were the retired Archbishop of Izmir , Giovanni Battista Federico Vallega , and the sacristan of the Pope, Curia Bishop Agostino Zampini OSA .
