The publisher edition AZUR is a Small Press for Poetry and Fiction , based in Dresden , since 2016 in the central station Dresden-Pieschen.
history
Edition AZUR was originally an imprint of the Jenaer Glaux Verlag , which was supervised by the freelance editor Helge Pfannenschmidt. The expansion of this division made it necessary to separate it from the publishing program, which is mainly focused on regional history and scientific publications. In 2009 edition AZUR became an independent publisher. Since 2005 around 30 volumes with poetry, short prose and three with aphorisms have been published . In addition to established authors, the authors mainly include debutants, seven volumes of whom come. The most commercially successful title was the anthology Neue Deutsche Aphorismen (2010, 2nd edition, 2013 edited by Alexander Eilers and Tobias Grüterich), while the greatest media attention was Die Endlose Ausexpnung von Zelluloid. 100 Years of Film and Cinema in Poetry (published in 2009 by Andreas Kramer and Jan Volker Röhnert ). According to the publisher, both are considered standard works in their field.
