Glänemäker

Glänemäker is a natural monument in the Sanne district of the Hassel municipality in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

Glänemäker, a small forest, is about two kilometers southeast of Sanne and about one kilometer north of Wischer . It is designated as a bird sanctuary at Wischer . The area is protected by an ordinance in the Stendal district of June 15, 1937.

history

Glänemäker was first mentioned in 1434 as leuemade and gleuemede , when Margrave Johann enfeoffed the Tangermünder Henning von Köckte with the third half hoof on the field mark. Further mentions are 1482 glenemede ; 1598 zue Glonemede , 1602 a desert feldtmarcke the heist Glienemede , 1771 Klänemäcker and 1794 Gräemeker the place is called .

In 1835 a sheep farm was built. It belonged to the Jarchau manor and in 1836 was named Glänemäcker after the field on which it was laid out.

Wilhelm Zahn wrote in 1909: “The desert mark was previously called Glienemäker , also known as Glinker in the vernacular . The old settlement was probably located southwest of the Vorwerke, on the southeast tip of the Sanne field mark, 1.7 kilometers from the village. ”In 1938, Glänemäker was recorded in the measurement table. In 1958 the place to live was listed in a local dictionary.

Incorporations

On September 30, 1928 Glänemäker was united with the rural community of Sanne . Up until then it had belonged to the Jarchau manor district , which on the same day was united with the Jarchau rural community.

The Protestant Christians from Glänemäker belonged to the parish of Sanne, which formerly belonged to the parish of Jarchau near Eichstedt in the Altmark.
