The Gland is a river in France that runs in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in the Jura and flows into the Doubs after a good 13 kilometers .

geography

course

From a hydrological (due to the water flow ) and hydrographic (due to its length) view, the gland arises from the confluence of the Creuse and Doue streams in Glay . However, the Gland has its own small upper course that flows down from the west of Roches-lès-Blamont through the Combe de Vau . This then flows into Glay in the Doue, which runs to the north and takes its name.

The Gland runs north from Glay through Meslières , Hérimoncourt , Seloncourt and Audincourt , where it flows into the Doubs from the right .
