GlobalLogic is a service company for software-based product development . The company was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in San José , California . It is privately owned by  Apax Partners  and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).

GlobalLogic provides R&D software services, custom software solutions, and consulting expertise for companies in the semiconductor , manufacturing, automotive, digital media, electronics, healthcare, finance, retail, and telecommunications industries.

GlobalLogic covers all phases of the development cycle and specializes in software development in the areas of embedded systems, mobile solutions, machine-to-machine, security and the Internet of Things.

history

GlobalLogic was originally founded as "Induslogic" in 2000, with headquarters in Vienna, Virginia , a distribution center in India and funded by New Atlantic Ventures. The merger with the offshore software company, which specialized in telecommunications technologies and mobile solutions, resulted in additional locations in New Jersey and the Ukraine .

When Induslogic finally merged with Bonus Technologies in 2006, today's company name "GlobalLogic" was created.

To improve its international presence, GlobalLogic opened an office in London in 2008 and an office in Santiago de Chile in 2011 . In 2014 GlobalLogic opened new delivery centers in Europe and India. The growth was supported by acquisitions.

  • 2008: InterObject, a company specializing in the development of embedded software, mobile technology and streaming media products
  • 2010: Cubika, specializing in the development of software products for the media, entertainment, telecommunications and finance industries

  • 2011: Method Incorporated, an experience design consultancy with offices in San Francisco, New York City and London.
  • 2016: REC Global, a Poland-based company that specializes in the development of low-level programming and offers tailor-made software solutions for customers in the automotive, telecommunications and industrial automation sectors
