The Gmina Dobrzyca [ dɔ'bʒɨtsa ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Pleszewski of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German Dobrzyca , around 1900 Dobberschütz ) with about 3100 inhabitants.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the rural community Dobrzyca belonged to the Kalisz Voivodeship . On January 1, 2014 Dobrzyca received city rights and the municipality its current status.
