The Gmina Korczyna is a rural community in the Powiat Krośnieński of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the former town of Korczyna .
geography
The municipality is located in the Dynów Mountains . The Ślączka is one of the waters. The neighboring municipalities include the town of Krosno in the southwest and Krościenko Wyżne in the southeast.
history
Korczyna lost the town charter granted in 1785 in 1934.
From 1975 to 1998 Korczyna was part of the Krosno Voivodeship .

The rural community (gmina wiejska) Korczyna includes the following seven villages with a school administration office :
Czarnorzeki, Iskrzynia , Kombornia , Korczyna , Krasna, Węglówka and Wola Komborska.
