The Gmina Koszyce is an urban-and-rural municipality in the Powiat Proszowicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its headquarters are in the city of the same name , which regained its city rights on January 1, 2019.

history
In 2011 a 5000 year old mass grave from the Neolithic Age with 15 skeletons was found near Koszyce .
