The Gmina Krypno is a rural municipality in the Powiat Moniecki of the Podlaskie Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name. The municipality is located around 30 km northwest of Białystok in the center of the voivodeship and has a little over 4000 inhabitants.

In Krypno there is a school complex with an elementary school and a middle school. The primary school in the village of Długołęka also belongs to the municipality. Non-public schools are the primary school in Góra and the primary school Jana Kobylański in Ruda. The community maintains the art and entertainment library in Gminny Osrodek Kultury.
