The Gmina Pogorzela [ pɔgɔˈʐɛla ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Gostyński of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German Pogorschella ) with about 2100 inhabitants.

The town itself and 12 villages with school administration offices (sołectwa) belong to the town-and-country municipality (gmina miejsko-wiejska) Pogorzela with an area of 96.5 km² and about 5000 inhabitants :
