The Gmina Sośno is a rural community in the powiat Sępoleński of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name ( German Soßnow ) with a little more than 1000 inhabitants.
geography
It is located northwest of the city of Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) about 40 kilometers away.
history
With the first Polish partition in 1772, the municipality became part of the Prussian Netzedistrikt in the Kingdom of Prussia . In the 19th century, the Flatow district became the province of West Prussia . After the First World War , it fell to the Second Polish Republic in 1920 under the terms of the Versailles Treaty with the Polish Corridor .
Gmina Sośno has existed since 1973, before the municipality belonged to Gmina Wielowicz . From 1973 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the differently tailored voivodeships of Bydgoszcz (1950) and the eponymous voivodeships of 1975 .
