The Gmina Wyryki is a rural community in the powiat Włodawski of the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the municipality is the village Wyryki-Połód with about 400 inhabitants.
geography
The rural commune borders on the communes of Dębowa Kłoda , Hanna , Hańsk , Podedwórze , Sosnówka , Stary Brus , Włodawa and the city of Włodawa . Over half (54%) of the municipal area is forested.
history
A labor camp of the Sobibor concentration camp was located in Adampol (Kolonia) . When the camp was dissolved on August 13, 1943, 475 inmates were shot on the spot, and more were sent to the extermination camps .
From 1975 to 1998 Gmina belonged to the Chełm Voivodeship .
