Godesberg private school in the Art Nouveau villa

The Godesberger Privatschule - formerly the Bonn teaching institute - is a state-recognized private supplementary school in the Bonn district of Bad Godesberg . It is recognized by the state in accordance with Section 34 of the North Rhine-Westphalia Schools Act and has unlimited permission to teach school-age children. The school has around 80 students, who are taught by 10 teachers, as well as a high school and secondary school from grade 7. The catchment area of the students is large and extends from Cologne to Koblenz and from Euskirchen to Siegburg. With a size of 5 to an average of 10, sometimes 15 students, the classes are kept small, which, according to the school management, enables more individual support and dedication on the part of the teachers.

history

The private school was founded in 1972 under the name Bonner Lehrinstitut (BLI) . In August 2012 the school was renamed Godesberg Private School on the occasion of its 40th anniversary .

School degrees

The school leads to the secondary school leaving certificate and the Abitur from the 8th school year at the earliest according to the G9 principle. The degrees obtained through state final exams are on an equal footing with those of public schools.

location

The Bonn teaching institute is located in the Bad Godesberg district of Bonn , near the Bad Godesberg train station . The school building is a listed Art Nouveau villa with a size of 600 square meters.
