Gojko Pijetlović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Гојко Пијетловић ; born August 7, 1983 in Novi Sad ) is a Serbian water polo player . He is the goalkeeper of the Serbian national water polo team and won the gold medal with it at the 2015 swimming world championships .

successes

Since 2006, Pijetlović has won the World Water Polo League seven times with Serbia : 2006 in Athens, 2007 Berlin, 2010 Niš, 2011 Florence, 2013 Chelyabinsk, 2014 Dubai and 2015 in Bergamo. There was also bronze in 2009 in Podgorica.

At the FINA Water Polo World Cup , he and his country were successful in 2010 in Oradea, Romania. Serbia also won the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy. The European Water Polo Championships brought gold in 2016 in Budapest and 2014 in Belgrade and once bronze in 2010 in Zagreb.

The swimming world championships saw Serbia with Pijetlović in 2015 in Kazan, Russia and 2009 in Rome in first place. The team won silver in Shanghai in 2011 and bronze at the 2012 Olympics in London.

Gojko shared most of his international successes with his brother, field player Duško Pijetlović .
