The Goldoppa (Czech Opavice , Polish Opawica ) is a left tributary to the Opava (Oppa) in the Czech Republic and Poland .

It rises northwest of Heřmanovice in the Zlatohorská vrchovina in the Czech Republic. Its source is 792 m above sea level. M. on the southern slope of the Příčný vrch ( Querberg , 974 m) not far from the road to Horní Údolí and the source of the Olešnice .
On its way to the southeast, the Goldoppa flows through Heřmanovice, Ptáčník, Spálené, Komora and Holčovice . Here the river changes its course in several loops to the east and via Hejnov, Hynčice and Město Albrechtice it reaches the border with Poland. In the further course to the southeast, the river has formed the border between Austrian Silesia and Silesia (today between the Czech Republic and Poland) over a length of 10.3 kilometers since 1742 . The divided villages of Opavice / Opawica , Linhartovy / Lenarcice, Krásné Loučky / Krasne Pole and Chomýž / Chomiąża lie on both sides of the Goldoppa . Below Chomiąża the Opavice flows back into Czech territory. On the right side of the river lies the town of Krnov , on the left side the locality of Hlubčické Předměstí. At the foot of the Cvilín (441 m) the Opavice flows after 35.7 km at 302 m above sea level. M. in the Opava . The catchment area of the river is 195.4 km².
