Golub Doknić (born April 16, 1982 in Vrbas ) is a Montenegrin handball player .
Career
The 1.95 meter tall goalkeeper was able to gain his first international experience with the RK Vardar Skopje in the EHF Challenge Cup . After winning the Macedonian Cup in 2006, he qualified for the Cup Winners Cup for the 2006/07 season .
With the start of the 2007/08 season he moved to Italy to AS Pallamano Conversano, with which he participated twice in the EHF Cup .
In 2009/10 and 2010/11 he played for the Serbian club RK Kolubara, with which he was able to get the double of the championship title and cup victory.
At the beginning of the 2011/12 season he moved to Austria to Alpla HC Hard , which participates in the Handball League Austria . In the first season with the Vorarlbergers he was able to secure the championship title straight away, in the cup they failed in the quarter-finals at the handball club Fivers Margareten . In addition, Doknić was named Legionnaire of the Year by the league.
With the championship title, they took part in the qualifying tournament for the EHF Champions League in the 2012/13 season , failed there and were entitled to participate in the EHF Cup. There they were eliminated from HK Motor Zaporizhia . This season the title was defended in the final against the Fivers from Vienna, but in the cup they failed in the final against the capital city team. After this season the goalkeeper was honored again as Legionnaire of the Year.
After things went the same internationally as in the previous season, Doknić was able to celebrate his first ÖHB Cup victory with the Harders in 2014 . So they returned the favor for the final defeat of the previous year at the Viennese.
In 2018 a second ÖHB Cup victory followed with Alpla HC Hard.

The goalkeeper scored a goal from the backcourt in two games , once in the final of the HLA 2012 against HIT Innsbruck and the second time in a game of the basic season 2012/13 against the ULZ Schwaz
