Gondim is a former municipality in the city of Maia in northern Portugal .

Gondim was a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Maia , in the district of Porto . On June 30, 2011 the community had 2,197 inhabitants on an area of 1.4 km².
As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal in 2013 , the municipality of Gondim was merged with the municipalities of Santa Maria de Avioso , São Pedro de Avioso , Gemunde and Barca on September 29, 2013 to form the new municipality of Castêlo de Maia .
