Gonzalo Bueno , full name Gonzalo Diego Bueno Bingola , (born January 16, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.75-meter-tall offensive player Gonzalo Bueno is the son of the former soccer player and current coach Gustavo Bueno . With Darío Pereyra , his father's cousin, he has another prominent relative in Uruguayan football. He has been in the first division club Nacional Montevideos since at least the 2011 Clausura . For the Bolsos , he has since played 51 games in the Primera División , in which he scored 14 goals. He also completed ten Copa Libertadores matches . In this competition he appeared three times as a goal scorer. In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons he and his team were each Uruguayan champion. On August 16, 2013 it was announced that Bueno would join the Russian club Kuban Krasnodar and sign a five-year contract. The transfer fee achieved by Nacional is said to be "more than four million dollars". One game in the national cup competition, three appearances in the Europa League and also three in the national league for the Russian club. At the beginning of 2015 he returned to Nacional Montevideo on loan. There he was used in the 2014/15 season, in which his club won the national championship, seven times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league and once (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores . At the end of August 2015, he was loaned to the Portuguese club União Madeira for a season. There he only played a league game as a substitute and was used once in the national cup competition (each no goal). The immediate, early termination of the contract was announced on December 10, 2015. At the beginning of January 2016, he started working for Estudiantes de La Plata . With the Argentines, he played three first division games (no goal). In July 2016, he moved to Defensor Sporting . Across the seasons he has so far (as of August 7, 2017) in 33 top division games (eleven goals).

National team

In 2012 Bueno was a member of the Uruguayan Olympic national team. However , he did not take part in the Summer Olympics in London . According to the UP, this team made its debut on April 25, 2012 against Egypt. This was his only mission. Bueno is part of Uruguay's U-20 squad . From his debut, which he celebrated against the USA under coach Juan Verzeri on June 6, 2012, he played a total of 20 matches with the U-20s and scored two goals , according to the AUF . (As of July 5, 2013) He took part with the team in the U-20 South American Championship 2013 and the U-20 World Championship 2013 . In both tournaments he was used five times and scored one tournament goal each. At the World Cup he was thus involved in winning the Vice World Championship.

On May 19, 2015, he was nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional squad of the U-22, which will compete in July 2015 at the Pan American Games 2015 in Toronto .
