history
Goodfield was founded in 1888 by John Guth under the name "Town of Guthville". The foundation was the railway, which put a new line into operation. Less than a year later, the name of the place was renamed Goodville.
In 1957 Goodville was officially given the status of " Village ". In the same year a water sewer was planned, which was built in 1980.
