Gottfried Schröckenfuchs (born November 8, 1947 in Mariahof ) is a former military commander of the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . The most recently in Armed Forces in the officer rank of brigadier -standing professional soldier was in charge from 2001 to 2009 with the leadership of the Vorarlberg military command. Gottfried Schröckenfuchs was born on November 8, 1947 in Mariahof in Styria and grew up in this federal state as well. He completed his Matura in Leoben and then moved to the Theresian Military Academy in Wiener Neustadt , where he completed his training as a career officer in the Austrian Armed Forces.
