Gottfried Wolff (politician)
Gottfried Wolff (born March 27, 1928 in Munich ; † October 21, 2013 in Ebenhausen / Zell) was a German politician ( CDU ).
Wolff studied agricultural science and became a certified farmer , then he studied veterinary medicine and was awarded a doctorate in veterinary medicine . He was then a Fulbright Research Fellow at Washington State University and headed a research and development group for a chemical-pharmaceutical company in New York and Terre Haute , Indiana. He was department head and scientific director of German groups of companies in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and feed sectors and managing partner of a research consultancy, marketing and advertising company and a specialist publisher.
Wolff was district chairman of the CDU district association Pinneberg and chairman of the local political association, mayor of Rellingen , parliamentary group chairman and city council in Pinneberg , member of the NDR broadcasting council, chairman of the district administrator of the Catholics in Schleswig-Holstein and during his studies, AStA chairman of the University of Munich and State Chairman of the Bavarian Student Union. From 1967 until his premature retirement in 1972 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .
