Gottlob Wolff von Gudenberg

Baron Gottlob Carl Wolff von Gudenberg (born May 3, 1813 in Meimbressen ; † November 26, 1890 in Kassel ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Thank God came from the north Hessian noble family Wolff von Gudenberg , which was raised to the baron status in 1873. He studied law at the Georg-August University of Göttingen , where he became a member of the Corps Hassia Göttingen in 1831 , and the Philipps University of Marburg , where he joined the Corps Hassia Marburg in 1832. After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge and became city court director in Kassel.

Wolff von Gudenberg belonged to the state parliament of Kurhessen and, after the annexation by Prussia in 1866, to the municipal council of Kassel . From 1879 to 1882 he sat as a member of the constituency Kassel 2 ( district Hofgeismar and district Wolfhagen ) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
