Gründungs is a town in the municipality of Ausserberg in the Westlich-Raron district of the canton of Valais in Switzerland . On 1 January 1923 the former municipality was the municipality Ausserberg merged . The area of the municipality changed from the Visp district to the Westlich Raron district .
