Hohtenn ( Valais German : Hote ) is a village in Upper Valais and is part of the political municipality of Steg-Hohtenn in the Westlich Raron district in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland .
A few hundred meters east of the town center is the spectacular Luogelkin Viaduct .
On December 16, 2007, the citizens of the communities of Steg and Hohtenn agreed to a community merger. The municipality merged to form Steg-Hohtenn on January 1, 2009.
