Grammer Interior Components GmbH (proper spelling GRAMMER ; until June 2016 Reum plastic and metal GmbH ), a German manufacturer of is interior components for the automotive industry as well as control systems for home appliances and automobiles, based in Hardheim and a further location in Brotterode-Trusetal . Together with its Polish sister company Grammer Interior Components Polska Sp. Z oo , the company has been part of Grammer AG since the end of 2015 .
history
Grammer Interior Components GmbH was founded on December 7, 2010 under the name Reum Kunststoff- und Metalltechnik GmbH as a shelf company and was acquired on January 18, 2011 by HTP Automotive GmbH, which is part of HTP Investments . The purpose of the acquisition was the takeover of assets from the former Reum GmbH (formerly Reum AG ; insolvency petition on August 25, 2010) at the Hardheim, Calw and Trusetal locations , which became effective February 1, 2011 by means of an asset deal agreement of January 18, 2011 took place.
The Calw production site was closed on March 31, 2015 based on a shareholder resolution from January 2014. In addition to Hardheim, the Trusetal location was retained.
On December 28, 2015, the takeover of the Reum Group by Grammer AG, announced in October of the same year, was approved and completed under antitrust law. On March 21, 2016, a domination and profit and loss transfer agreement was concluded with Grammer AG , which the shareholders' meeting on May 19, 2016 approved. Since June 1, 2016, the company has been operating under the name Grammer Interior Components GmbH.
