Grand Lee Bush (born December 24, 1955 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film and theater actor .

biography

Bush was born in Los Angeles to Essie and Robert Bush . He studied acting at the University of Southern California . He made his acting debut at the Mark Taper Forum and the Garden Grove Shakespeare Festival .

In 1977 his film career began with the sitcom Good Times and the miniseries Roots . In 1979 he was seen in the musical film Hair . In 1983 he was nominated for a Canadian Genie Award for his role in the film Hard Feelings .

In the years that followed, he starred in many well-known films such as Lethal Weapon , Die Hard , License to Kill and Colors - Colors of Violence . Since that film he has been friends with the famous actor Dennis Hopper . In the 1990s he took part in films such as The Exorcist III and Demolition Man . For his role in Street Fighter - The decisive battle he had to be trained in boxing by the martial arts professional Benny Urquidez .

In 1991 he met actress Sharon Dahlonega on the set of Freejack . The two married in 1994. In the same year he saved a man from being shot, which earned him recognition from the city of Los Angeles .

Bush was seen in more than 70 film and television productions up to and including 2002. He quit his acting activities and turned to medicine.
