Grandville is a city ( City ) in Kent County , Michigan in the United States . The place in the southwest of the state is on the Grand River about 10 kilometers behind Grand Rapids , Michigan's second largest city.

From 1987 to 2007, the place housed the headquarters of the spectrophotometer manufacturer X-Rite , a current subsidiary of Danaher Corporation . Today it serves as a shopping center in the metropolitan area with the RiverTown Crossings Mall .
