Greg Walters , actually Gregor Timme , (born May 3, 1980 in Gardelegen ) is a German fantasy , high fantasy and youth book author .

biography

Gregor Timme grew up in Gardelegen ( Saxony-Anhalt ), where he attended elementary school and then the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium. After completing his A-levels in the summer of 1998, he did his community service at Lebenshilfe Gardelegen e. V. from. From mid-1999 to 2006, he studied history and politics at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg for a grammar school teacher . From 2006 to 2008 he passed his second state examination . In addition to his work as an author, he teaches history and politics at the Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Braunschweig .

Gregor Timme is married and now lives with his family in the Lower Saxony city of Braunschweig .

Career as an author

Gregor Timme began writing his first short stories during his studies. The foundation for this was partly laid through his history studies. Since he was enthusiastic about as a child for fantasy books, it was only a matter of time before he joined the Fantasy - Genre zuwendete and wrote the first novel.

Under the pseudonym Greg Walters , the author published his fantasy debut novel "The Secrets of the Âlaburg" in 2015, initially as a self-publisher. This book is the prelude to the color seer saga series, consisting of a total of seven volumes, five of which have now been published. The other volumes in this series are "The Legends of the Âlaburg" from 2016, "The Chronicles of the Âlaburg" from 2017, "The Legends of the Âlaburg" also in 2017 and "The Order of the Âlaburg" in 2020. All volumes in the series are now as E-book , paperback (both Amazon Kindle Direct Publisher), hardcover ( Books on Demand Verlag) and audio book (read by dubbing and audio book speaker Marco Sven Reinbold , produced by audio book manufacturer Berlin). From volume five, "The Order of the Âlaburg" , the Ronin Hörverlag produces and continues the series with actor, speaker and director Robert Frank .

In October 2018 the author was signed by bene Bücher Verlag. With the conclusion of the "color seer saga" , the author began work on a new multi-part high fantasy series. The "Die Bestien Chroniken" , whose first volume "Bestias" was completed in summer 2018 and published in autumn 2018. This is an e-book, paperback, hardcover (bene Books Publishing, Erkrath), downloadable audiobook (read by Marco Sven Reinbold, produced by Ronin Hörverlag , Erlangen, Germany) as well as MP3 - audio CD was released. Volume 2 of the series with the title "Magus" was published as an e-book on March 1, 2019, the third volume "Rebelles" in summer 2019. The corresponding audio books in April and summer 2020 again via Ronin Hörverlag.

The Weltenbauer³ group of authors

Together with the fantasy author Sam Feuerbach and the fantasy author and journalist Mira Valentin , Greg Walters forms the authors' association Die Weltenbauer³ .
