Gregor Hiltner
Gregor Hiltner (* 18 January 1950 in Nuremberg as Franz-Peter Hiltner ) is a German visual artist .

Franz Gregor Hiltner studied from 1970 to 1978 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Karl Fred Dahmen and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg as a master student with Ernst Weil .
He acquired his reputation and artist name Gregor Hiltner while studying as a bar in the Nuremberg artist bar Gregor Samsa .
Study trips took him, for example, from 1975 to 1976 to a fourteen- month stay in the Middle East ( Syria , Jordan , Israel ), in 1979 for six months in Polynesia and Micronesia , in 1980/81 with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to London, 1983 after Brazil , but also to Tuscany , Canada and the USA .
In addition to large-format works of abstraction and over a hundred worldwide exhibitions, there were also large -scale works of art such as the design of the Rathenauplatz subway station in 1990 and Germany's longest picture (220 × 2 meters) in the EuromedClinic , Fürth , with 400 m² of accessible space in 1996 .
Other works
Gregor Hiltner created several film and video productions, several CD productions with extensive illustrations, a multimedia calendar and a children's book.
