Gregor Münst

Gregor Münst (born March 8, 1841 in Grodt ; † July 6, 1908 in Tettnang ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Gregor Münst, son of an economist, studied after attending the Latin school in Biberach and high school in Ehingen (Donau) 1862-1866 Regiminalwissenschaft at the University of Tübingen . In 1864 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Tübingen . In 1866 he became a soldier and ensign . From 1866 to 1867 he attended the war school in Ludwigsburg . In 1868 he joined the 4th Infantry Regiment as a lieutenant and was promoted to first lieutenant in 1871 . In 1872 he continued his studies at the University of Tübingen and in 1874 took the 1st and in 1875 the 2nd higher service examination. In 1875 he was appointed bailiff at the Mergentheim Oberamt . In 1882 he became a colleague in the ministerial department for road and hydraulic engineering. In the same year he came to the government of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen as a government assessor . In 183 he was appointed Oberamtmann of the Oberamt Backnang . In 1889 he moved to the Ludwigsburg Oberamt as senior bailiff . In 1891 he received the title of government councilor and in 1900 collegial councilor. In 1903 he retired.
