The Grellenbach is a 4.47 km long, left tributary of the Loisbach in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .
course
The stream rises on the eastern slope of the 624 m high Schertelsberg 300 m east of Ragenwies in the municipality of Moosbach . From there it flows first to the east, then to the north. After 630 m it takes on an unnamed stream from the left, which flows down from the northeast slope of the Schertelsberg. The Grellenbach flows around the 581 m high Roßtränkholz on its northwest slope, changes its direction of flow to the northeast and changes to the municipality of Eslarn .
It continues to flow between Roßtränkholz and the 571 m high Mühlberg in the south and the 587 m high Hochholz and Mühlholz in the north. At the foot of the Mühlholz, the Grellenbach passes the Solitude Roßtränkmühle. Shortly before it meets the state road 2155 from Eslarn to Moosbach, it takes the stream from the right that comes from the Atzmannsee open-air swimming pool. It crosses under the St 2155 and after another 300 m flows into the Loisbach on the north-western edge of Eslarn.
